Owner Joe Sysel has over 22 years of experience in event planning and coordination. He and his staff can assist in all phases of your planning.

Many families wish to plan and implement "their own" event. Our staff can provide full services for an event, or you can literally "take over". You reserve the event space, create your own decorations, provide your own food, organize volunteer set-up and clean-up personnel, and run the show. The facility rental will remain the same, but the costs for the entire event would be significantly reduced.

Upon booking we will provide you with a list of all of the recommended accommodations in and around the historic Georgetown area, which is only five minutes from the ranch. All price options are available. Within 8 minutes from Shadows Ranch, there are two bed-and-breakfast facilities and a restored stagecoach hotel.  For details, check the Preferred Vendors section and look under "Lodging."

Food and Beverage

Although we have an in-house catering service, you are welcome to use another caterer or create the food yourself.  Our bar can be pre-paid or set up as a cash bar for your guests.
